Laburnum aka Amaltas

Oh what a site it is – an Amaltas tree in full bloom! Standing in the corner of an almost-forgotten park, the tree is a delightful contrast against the overgrown shrubs and rusty swings and slides. You step under it and are hugged by cascades of golden-yellow flowers, and for a moment you forget the urban cacophony while you playfully swing the luminous blossoms hanging low, taking in their faint, sweet fragrance.
